So tonight we keynoted The Credit Education Week Canada Gala Dinner

Credit Education Week Canada (CEWC) is now in its 11th year. This year’s theme is titled “Guilty Pleasures”, with a focus on helping Canadians successfully reach their financial goals.  In association with Capital Direct, we keynoted the fascinating event which took place at The Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.  As well as loads of industry players from the financial sector, there were lots of student 'winners' in the audience. Grade 12 students, you see, from across Canada, had been invited to confess their worst financial calamity via 1000 word essays as part of CEWC 2017 Essay Contest sponsored by Credit Canada Debt Solutuons, Capital One, OLG, RBC, TD Bank, BMO and many others. Prizes ranged from $500 to $5,000 and there were 20 in total.  The grand prize winner, called Adam, was at our table. and is one of those guys you just KNOW is going to achieve huge things in life.  Our speech lasted about 45 minutes and, whilst on stage, we ran through the way in which our career started in Britain before transferring to Canada, and Australia.  Lots of fun, great crowds and fab food.  And a really great opportunity to spread the 'be careful with your cash' message.  We look forward to doing more projects like this!
