The Great Gatsby

Just back in from The Great Gatsby. We actually think F Scott Fitzgerald would have liked that which Baz Luhrmann has pulled off. Music by Craig Armstrong was the icing on the cake. All the zest and kinetic flair of Moulin Rouge but on a far grander dancing scale. And OMG; the set dressing. The whole Art Deco thing is just sublime. Great performances by Toby Maguire, Carey Mullingan, Joel Edgerton and of coure Leonardo DiCaprio who is actually wonderful in the lead role. Def' worth a look...
