Our Muskoka cottage hunt...

We've had a wicked couple of days in Muskoka where we've been based this last while on a cottage hunt.  Together with close friends Cherri and David we're looking to buy a holiday home atop an outcrop of glorious 'Canadian Shield' rock face. 

We've only just started to look but already we've found two cottages that we'd love to buy.  Now we're back in Toronto we have to do appraisals on each subject and thereafter decide how best to move forward.  One home is a glorious log cabin in perfect 'turn key' condition and the other is a traditional Muskoka cottage with a whole load of work to required to bring it up to speed.  Both have gorgeous attributes - and lake side positioning - so we have a lot of thinking to do!  We'll report back more soon...

In the meantime we're back at our condo and, after two ep's of The Walking Dead, we're totally pooped. Aye, t'as been a busy wee day... and now sleep finally beckons; its cloudy, woozy haze luring us in. Or in other words we're knackered and having an early night. Off to La La Land tomorrow on an early flight. Sleep tight all. Now where's that face pack, eye cream and hair net...?
