Having a great time with my Mum in Inverness.

Got up here yesterday after a beautiful train ride through Scotland and headed out for lunch with Mum and her good friend Sheena, both of whom met me at the station.  After a marathon chat and a bumper catch up we headed home for a quiet evening of TV and phonecalls.

Today we dashed into Inverness to find a new handbag for Mum and then we went to a great wee resto' on the river.  Fab food and great Scottish service.

Home now doing a spot of work and tonight I'm taking Mum for some delicious Indian food in the village.  My soup diet seems SO long ago.  Will get back onto that when I get back to Glsagow.

Tomorrow it's an early start as I'm off to Stirling where Colin will meet me off the train and we'll drive to see our god pals Debs and Bryan who run The Cross Keys at Kippen.  It's a great wee gastro pub/resto with rooms.  It's been ages since we saw them so it should be fun...
