Mr Jordan, we salute you.

This elderly hero, and the tale of his furtive escape to France, simply warms our hearts. D-Day. So many good souls, back then, risked their lives so that we might live. And this tale is a timely reminder of that. This is a time to remember. To thank. While we understand the concerns of the health services following Mr Jordan's secretive departure, we are reminded that good spirit, sometimes, simply can't be contained. And good spirit will fight. In a different way now, perhaps, than he might have done all those years ago. But he triumphed nevertheless, as he travelled, against all the odds, to honour others. Humbling stuff indeed. We tip our hats to you, Bernard. Thank you, Colin and Justin
