Closet conundrum

Faced with filling an entire bedroom wall elevation with hand built wardrobes, we baulked at our client's eleven grand quote from a custom manufacturer. So we settled at our drawing boards to find a solution. Bingo - TWO Oxford Triple Robes (solid oak and oak veneer) from Next fitted almost perfectly, with just a little cut to the middle edges of their top sections. A once cm fillet strip around the perimeter edge in pine (stained to match) and some simple crown moulding at the top finished the installation. Job costs? Around fifteen hundred pounds for closets and all materials and two hundred pounds of carpentry. Come on - don't overspend!
