THIS, angels, is how WE fake it. Let us help you keep your design budget strictly limited. BEFORE SHOT - deathly dull and boring? AFTER SHOT - we painted the stairs in slick satin white and added a taped edge runner. Making more of the existing wall panels was easy - we used masking tape and two shades of grey latex. TIP - play around with satin and matte finishes for extra effect. Amtico flooring adds visual substance. And a new light fitting finishes things off. A weekend project? In the correct hands, yes.
