Great day in Oakville and Burlington. Now heading off to New York City...
Burlington Berties are we! Spent the day on a cover shoot, yesterday, for West Of The City Magazine. Started in Oakville at Cocoon Furnishings, a veritable Mecca of cool home wares. After a good snoop we headed to Throat Thread Apparel in Burlington where a great team and a wonderful stylist called Tosh somehow managed to make us look rather polished. will be on stands in September. After the shoot was coomplete, we jumped back in the limo' and headed into Burlington to visit Elizabeth Interiors and Centro Garden, a couple of lovely furniture stores. Finally, fatigued after our marathon style marathon, we headed back to Oakville and gathered for dinner at Maluca. Together with Holly (our charming editor from WOTC mag') and our pals Mark and Laura from Fathom PR who helped arrange our fun day out we enjoyed some lovely repast. Ah yes, and a few post prandials...
This morning? Hmm. Can we just say slightly sore of heads? Yup, we had a great night but OMG... Was that last cocktail REALLY neccessary?
Gathering our strength now before walking to City airport. Two wee Scottish boys, fluffy of head and tender of spirit, heading to New York, The Big Banana. Just a short hour flight from Toronto. Double, in fact TRIPLE, yay!
