Well we can hardly believe it - we\'re off to Toronto again tomorrow but our time in Scotland has gone more quickly than ever.

It seems like only yesterday that we arrived back in Scotland after our jaunty travels in Grand Cayman, LA, Toronto and London.  That said, we've been home for two whole weeks already.  God, time flies when you're having fun. Especially when you're having LOADS of fun.

Aye, it's been a great couple of weeks.  We've caught up with family and worked on our house in Glasgow, adding a few finishing layers to the grand old dame!   We'll eventually reveal the fruits of our labours in a glossy UK mag and also in The Toronto Star where we write  a column.   We'll let you know when to expect the features to appear...

Yesterday was fab - on route from my Mum's in Inverness, I stopped at Stirling where I met up with Colin and, together, we travelled over to Kippen to see our gorgeous friends Debs and Brian who run The Cross Keys.  Busier than ever, we were thrilled to see the place alive and buzzing.   In fact it was so busy that, as Colin had lunch with Debs and Brian's daughter Robyn, I decided to roll up my sleeves and do a full 'shift' to help out.  It caused more than a few curious looks as I bussed tables and worked behind the bar!  Having worked with Debs (post Uni) a million years ago, it was great to pick up where I left off and the experience was actually REALLY good fun!

This afternoon we worked from home on newspaper columns and such like and caught up with a pilke of paperwork (and bills; ugh!) which we've been dragging around for ages between transatlantic trips.

And of course it's our anniversary today!  Yup, it's been four glorious years since our civil partnership at Chelsea Town Hall.  Jeeez - time has flown.  And, come April, it'll be TWENTY SEVEN years since we met.  Somehow, we'll still admit to being just 31 and 32... Lol!

Just spoken to friends in Toronto who say that there's been loads of snow but we're gutted to hear that it's now raining.  Never mind; we were really looking forward to a big dump when we got back but hopefully more will come.

Trust this finds you all well, hale and hearty,

C&J xx
