Blimey it\'s good being home!

Last night we went to an wonderfully humbling charity event called The Yorkhill Dinner.  Arranged to raise funding for The Yorkhill Children's Hospital we watched in wonder as a sell out crowd of 500 raised a total of £106,000 to help buy a much needed microscope for the hard working hospital.  Events like these remind us just how kind people can be but just how much more money is needed so that illnesses can be properly tackled.

Today we've been to Taylor Ferguson for a couple of 'hair did's' and  now we're back home getting ready to head out into the city.  Off to The Lord Provost's private dining room at The Glasgow City Chambers this evening for dinner.  As previous recipients of 'The Lord Provost's Medal For Services To Entertainment' we are proud to share the spirit of The Dear Green Place.

Trust this finds you all well, hale and hearty.  Go on - give the people you love a hug.
