Right now, I'd settle for any of the boys' shows. The only makeover shows we get on free-to-air in Australia seem to involve helping out people who have had some kind of personal tragedy, they concentrate more on the recipients of the makeover than the actual work or design, and it's kind of depressing. I know it's a nice thing to do for these people and all, but I'm worried that Aussies will think you should only redecorate if you're about to die from cancer or your kid has a birth defect and won't live past 8.
Thank goodness for SevenTwo who have (should I say HAD) a great Friday night line-up of Escape to the Country, 60 Minute Makeover and HNTD. Except they've now dumped HNTD for some stupid stand-up comedy show. The boys and Andy (ever so slightly HOT Andy!) and Katie and all the rest are much funnier than any American comedian could ever be. Maybe I should start a one-woman campaign to have HNTD restored. That was a good rant, I feel much better now! Cheers Jenny |

I too love Home Heist. I can't find How Not being shown in North Carolina right now, but BBC tends to rotate shows.

I was over at my folks' last weekend and flicked through their pay TV guide (I only have free-to-air) and found Home Heist is currently being shown on the Lifestyle Channel. But at 6am on a Monday morning. Sorry Boyz, love you but not quite that much! I'm not absolutely convinced there actually IS more than one six o'clock each day.
I wish all the boys' shows would get released on DVD, I'd be more than happy to fork out for a box set or three. And how gorgeous would the DVD covers be! Cheers Jenny |
